Holy Names University in Oakland, California seeks applicants for a full-time appointment in psychology at the rank of assistant professor. This tenure-track position will include teachingand advising in the graduate Counseling and Forensic Psychology program, as well as some program administration duties under the guidance of the Program Director. The position alsoincludes teaching in the undergraduate psychology program. Applicants should have a doctoral degree in counseling or clinical psychology and should be able to teach a range of basic counseling courses. Expertise in community mental health or diverse populations is highly desirable.
Successful applicants will have teaching experience and the ability to bridge scholarly activity and clinical practice.
