Holy Names University seeks applicants for a part-time (12 hours per week) position as the Training Director, Counseling & Psychological Services. Anticipated start date is April 1, 2017 for cross training with a 12-month term. Additionally, the position will require availability on Wednesday mornings beginning May 30, 2017.
The Training Director is responsible for providing supervision, education and training to clinical psychology graduate students engaged in professional training among a very diverse setting. The position also includes formal evaluations and co-conducts, with CAPS Director, group supervision for trainees and consultation for University faculty and staff. Other responsibilities include, maintaining training records in a secure manner, coordinate and prepare required reports, provide aid in crisis intervention and response to psychiatric emergencies.
Applicants must have a Psy.D or Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from an accredited graduate school or university, be a California licensed psychologist and have 2 years of experience.
