HNU Students Committed to Community Service
August 22nd, 2008
 This past Friday, August 22nd, a group
of New HNU students boarded a bus
to Ocean Beach in San Francisco. The
first community service project of the
year went extremely well, with over
40 volunteers taking part in the beach
cleanup.
The slight chill from the sea did
little to prevent the students from
assisting in the preservation of
one of Northern California's
treasures.
Even off campus, students are eager
to learn, as we see some of our
Men's Soccer Players being educated
about jellyfish from an Ocean Beach
local.
The entire day was a success, with
all members demonstrating the
pride we take in community
service here at HNU.
