Lake Merritt Clean-up Day 

Holy Names University is committed to inspiring generations to take action. Students are encouraged to take what they have learned in the classroom out into the world to make it a better place.

In the spirit of community service and in celebration of the founding site of Holy Names University, the students, faculty, staff and administrators of HNU will host a “Lake Merritt Clean-up Day,” in partnership with the Lake Merritt Institute.

We welcome, too, the Oakland community to participate and celebrate in this auspicious occasion.

Arrival — 9:30 A.M.
Arrival at Lake Merritt for volunteer assignments
Clean-up —10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
HNU community participates in the clean-up project
Lunch —12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.
Lunch at the Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill
