U.S. News and World Report has again recognized Holy Names University as the most diverse university in the nation for the 2013–2014 academic year, the second consecutive year in which HNU has achieved this distinction.
“We are honored to be recognized once again for our diversity,” HNU President William J. Hynes, PhD, said. “Because of our diversity, our students have the advantage of understanding different cultural perspectives, enabling them to be more effective global leaders.”
HNU has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to diversity. U.S. News and World Report has included Holy Names University as one of the top five Western regional universities in its diversity rankings multiple times since 1998, when the diversity rankings were implemented.
