Our purpose is to advance Zoltán Kodály’s vision of music for all, providing quality, accessible and inclusive music education for diverse communities and cultures.
A contribution to the Kodály Center supports:
- The collaboration of American and Hungarian faculty in continuing to adapt Kodály’s vision for music education in the United States.
- Quality music teacher training to build music literacy for all generations of American children and adults.
- The preparation of choral conductors for school, church and community choirs.
- The research and development of resources for use in classrooms around the world, including songs, curricula and textbooks for students.
