
Dr. Rita Klinger
This scholarship was created following the passing of Dr. Rita Klinger in April 2012.
Dr. Klinger taught in the Holy Names Kodály Program from 1981-1991 and continued to inspire and educate teachers through her subsequent work with establishing, coordinating and teaching in other Kodály programs throughout the country.
In honor of Rita’s life and teaching, Holy Names University has initiated an endowed scholarship in her name. This scholarship is awarded annually to a returning Level III summer institute student who demonstrates outstanding promise for continuing her legacy.
