Start strong at HNU
During a Hawk Day, you'll connect with fellow incoming new students, explore ways to get involved at HNU, and learn more about the resources and people that are here to support you along the way. Attending Hawk Day is required for new undergraduate students.
Pre-Hawk Day Requirements
Students are encouraged to sign up for a Hawk Day date as soon as they have submitted their Intent to Enroll form. All students must complete the following items prior to their scheduled Hawk Day:
- Submit your enrollment deposit and confirm you have received your financial aid award letter.
- Complete the mathematics placement assessment (sign-ups are accessible by clicking on a Hawk Day date below).
- Submit your final transcripts.
- Sign up for a Hawk Day!
- Sign Up On Raftr and Complete Your Pre-Hawk Day Checklist

Hawk Day is Virtual! Here’s How to Get Access
Raftr is the online Hawk Day tool you will be using for your virtual Hawk Day. Sign Up Now to Complete all the Pre-Hawk Day Requirements. You will use Raftr on your laptop or computer during your registered Hawk Day.
