Allison Torres

Allison earned her undergraduate degree in Speech Communication and her master’s degree in Counseling and Student Services with an emphasis in Higher Education from California State University, Fresno.  While working on her degrees, she held positions as an outreach coordinator, instructor, and academic adviser at both Fresno State and Fresno City College.  In addition to working in Fresno, Allison has also held advising and outreach positions at The Pennsylvania State University, Ventura College, and Diablo Valley College.  Although Allison is a relatively new resident to the Bay Area, she is excited to be a part of the vibrant and dedicated community of students, instructors, advisors, and administrators at Holy Names University.

In her spare time, Allison likes to watch baseball and listen to music, as well as reading as much as she can.  She is always on the lookout for the next under-the-radar independent book or record store.
