Dave Shinoda, LMFT

As an alumnus of Holy Names University, one of the things I appreciate most is its commitment to diversity both in academics and practice. There is recognition that when it comes to learning that one size does not fit all and that it is important to take into consideration the personal and cultural journey of each student. Like HNU I take a collaborative approach to learning that is intended to lead to the transformation of individuals and the community around us. Transformative learning happens in a sacred and safe space where teacher and student can both know and be known, differences are valued and change is welcome. I look forward to teaching CPSY275 Psychological Development and Spiritual Growth in the Summer term.
