Rebecca Whitney

I work closely with each of our students with disabilities to determine the appropriate accommodations and monitor their implementation. If you are a student with a disability, whether related to your Veteran status or otherwise, I am here to support you. Contact me early on in your HNU career to maximize the effect of your accommodations.

The Disability Support Services (DSS) office collaborates with HNU’s diverse community to ensure that all aspects of student campus life are universally accessible. Guided by the Sisters of the Holy Names’ core values of dedication to justice, commitment to liberating action, and full development of the human person, we seek to create an inclusive and equitable learning environment.

DSS provides both housing and academic accommodations to eligible HNU students with disabilities to ensure that those students do not experience barriers to their education. Accommodations are considered and approved on a case-by-case basis, following an intake interview and a review of supporting documentation, if necessary.
