Talia Moore

Dr. Talia Moore is an educator, self-published author and poet, and criminologist specializing in criminal justice, law enforcement culture and community and client engagement.

Dr. Moore graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Welfare with a concentration in Psychology and a minor in African-American Studies.  She continued at Golden Gate University earning a Master of Arts degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in Children and Families, and earned her Educational Doctorate in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Forensics, from Argosy University American School of Professional Psychology.

As an Associate Professor of Criminology at Holy Names University. Dr. Moore brings over a decade of law enforcement and corrections experience, working previously as a Deputy Probation Officer.  In this capacity, she supervised juveniles, adults, felony drug offenders and the significantly mentally ill.
