THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED
In accordance with the CDC recommendation to cancel large group gatherings during this time, Holy Names University has postponed this event until further notice.

Oakland’s own Akintunde Ahmad, who has been a guest on Ellen, is a graduate of Yale University and Columbia University. His clothing line, Ade Dehye, blends African textiles with urban, luxury design.

Akintunde will be on campus to discuss Daniel “Dapper Dan” Day’s newest book and New York Times Bestseller, Made in Harlem: A Memoir.

The event is hosted by the School of Education at Holy Names University and will be moderated by Dr. Kimberly Mayfield (Dean, School of Education) and Jahi (music mogul, artist, author, and activist).
