Come celebrate the writing of HNU’s Freddy Gutierrez and other community voices at the Cushing Library.

Join us and Freddy Gutierrez, HNU’s Director of the Center for Social Justice and Civic Engagement and adjunct faculty in the English department on November 10th, 2021 at 5:00 PM over Zoom. Freddy will be reading from his book, Nueva Cuenta. He is joined by students from the Confronting Racism Certificate course, Telling Your Story. Readings will be followed by a discussion and Q&A on the ways we may creatively respond to ongoing issues of race, culture, gender equality, and intersectionality in our lives.

Nueva Cuenta is available for pick-up at the HNU library. Please visit the HNU library’s website for COVID-19 updates including pick-up information and in person campus access.
