Dear HNU Family,

With the holidays upon us and 2021 drawing to a close, I am thankful for the vibrance and generosity of the Holy Names University community. In another year filled with uncertainty and new challenges, you proved that no amount of darkness can put out HNU’s light.

An HNU education looked quite different this year, but with your help, we still carried forward the mission of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. Our students still pursued their educational goals relentlessly, and used their learning to support communities in need. Our faculty and staff still showed up for students every day, supporting them in extraordinary and innovative ways. Our alumni still made us proud by representing the very best of HNU out in the world. And each of you who gave to HNU this year helped our light shine brighter still. Lives continue to change every day because of you.

Thank you for all you have done to support Holy Names University this year. Keep reading for a few examples of the great work our community is doing. I hope it will make you proud—I know I am. And, if you’ve not yet made a year-end gift to support this good work, and wish to do so now, please click here.

I truly hope you enjoy this time of celebration and renewal with your loved ones. We will be celebrating with you in spirit, and we hope to see you soon.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays, everyone.

Sincerely,

Mike Groener
President, Holy Names University
