Holiday Message from ASHNU Student Body President Aaliyah Quinones ’22

Hello Holy Names Friends and Family, 

On behalf of ASHNU (Associated Students of Holy Names University), I would like to wish everyone a healthy and relaxing winter break and holiday season. You have all worked so hard this year, this break is well-deserved. 

Fellow students, I am so proud and grateful to be your student body president. Each and every day you impress me with your resilience and commitment to help each other. We have been through so much together. We have weathered all the challenges that COVID-19 presented and come through the storm stronger than ever. Make sure to look back on all that you have done and learned in this difficult time, and acknowledge your accomplishments. There will continue to be difficult times ahead, but I know that if we continue to help and support each other we can get through anything that’s thrown our way. 

I want to thank HNU’s staff and faculty for being so amazing. It’s obvious that you are dedicated to helping us students be successful. You have been flexible, open, and honest with us. We appreciate you and thank you for all that you do. 

During the winter break, I hope you all get a chance to connect with loved ones, sing, dance, eat, meditate–anything that will help you refresh and recharge. I look forward to seeing you all next semester.
