Housing and academic accommodations
DSS provides both housing and academic accommodations to eligible HNU students with disabilities to ensure that those students do not experience barriers to their education. Accommodations are considered and approved on a case-by-case basis, following an intake interview and a review of supporting documentation, if necessary.

Rebecca Whitney
Disability Support Services Coordinator
I work closely with each of our students with disabilities to eliminate barriers so that all students have equal access to HNU’s many educational opportunities. If you are a student with a disability, whether related to your Veteran status or otherwise, I am here as a resource to you. Together, we will determine the appropriate accommodations and monitor their implementation. Contact me at any point in your HNU career to discuss your disability-related questions.
