Dear Holy Names University community,

Over 100 years ago during the 1918 “Spanish Flu,” Holy Names did what was necessary to continue providing education. To protect our students, faculty members donned face masks and moved their classes outside.

Today, we continue in their footsteps as our community rises to this extraordinary occasion in order to keep learning and growing as a campus community and individually. I share with you today a message of thanks.

Sincerely,

Dr. Sheila Smith Mckoy
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
Holy Names University
