Holiday Message from Sr. Carol Sellman

Dear Students, Staff, and Faculty,
The holidays are often a time for reflection and remembrance. A time to gather with friends, family, and loved ones.
This past year has been a tremendously stressful time for our community, culminating in this week’s heartbreaking announcement. I want to acknowledge the toll that this stress has had on the emotional health and well-being of our community, and I encourage each of you to come together in the coming weeks in the spirit of caring, giving, and love.
This year especially, I am feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude for you–our students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, partners, and friends. Each member of our community has been integral in shaping our beloved HNU through the years. As we look forward to change and transition, I know the University’s mission and the Core Values of the Sisters are safely secure in the hearts and actions of each of you.
I pray we each pause to be grateful for one another.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a blessed New Year.
Gratefully,
Sr. Carol Sellman
